  • Clegg Gifford Private Clients, one of the UK’s most forward thinking mortgage brokers, was launched in 2003 by Paul Welch and Roy Clegg, founder of Tradex Insurance Company Ltd
  • Clegg Gifford Private Clients is an associate company of Clegg Gifford Co Ltd, Lloyd’s Brokers and Tradex Insurance Company Ltd 
  • Since 2003, the company team has grown from one to 18-strong, currently based in two London Docklands offices 
  • In addition to mortgages, Clegg Gifford Private Clients also arrange life insurance, buildings and contents insurance, secured loans, commercial loans and overseas mortgages
  • Clegg Gifford Private Clients is a professional, dynamic, service-orientated organisation that’s easy to do business with
  • Clegg Gifford Private Clients began as CG Financial in March 2003 and was re-branded in March 2004
  • In June 2004 Clegg Gifford Private Clients launched SMS Mortgages on mobile phones (‘text-for-a-quote’ mortgage calculator): the first of its kind in the UK and has since re-launched this service in Spring 2005

  • Secured loans: Clegg Gifford Private Clients offers this service as an alternative to a re-mortgage, allowing the client to raise capital for almost any purpose and eliminates additional costs of solicitors, survey and admin fees etc
  • Home insurance: An associated company, Clegg Gifford & Co Ltd, Lloyd’s Broker, specialises in home insurance policies to protect house and contents.  Clegg Gifford aim to please with their commitment to service guaranteed at all times
  • Life insurance: Clegg Gifford Private Clients compares quotes from the UK’s leading life insurance providers to find the best quote.  Life cover helps repay outstanding mortgage commitments or maintain repayments in the case of illness or the like, by providing either a cash lump sum or a monthly income

  • Large mortgage loans: Clegg Gifford Private Clients has launched a bespoke service for clients seeking loans in excess of £500K driven by Paul Welch, managing director
